How to Sell Your Blog
Everybody has heard of “house flipping,” but have you ever heard of “blog flipping?” Blog flipping is where you buy a blog, build it up and then sell it for more than you bought it. It sounds easy, but it can often take quite a bit of time. Of course, not everyone wants to “flip” blogs. Some people simply want to sell their blogs. If you are one of the people who wants to know how to sell a blog, this article is for you!
If you feel that it is time to sell your blog, the first thing you need to do is gather together all of your blog statistics. Buyers will want to about your traffic, the revenue you bring in from advertising, basic demographic information about your audience, your ranking in the major search engines, how old your blog is, how many back links you have, any publicity that your blog has generated and how much your site costs to run. This is a lot of information to keep track of, but if you want to sell your blog, you need to prove that it is worth buying. Healthy numbers in all of the aforementioned areas are an important part of proving that your blog will be a profitable investment.
Once you’ve gathered together all of your blog statistics, you need to figure out how much your blog is worth. While you might think your blog is worth tens of thousands of dollars, the best way to figure out how much your blog is worth is to look at how much revenue is brought in by your blog and then subtract how much it costs to run your site. The number will seem very low, but there is plenty that you can do to raise it!
The best way to find a buyer is to announce publicly that you are looking for a buyer. Selling your blog to a network is a great idea, especially if you aren’t sure if you want to stop producing content for the blog. Often blog networks will “hire” you to keep working on that blog.  You could also find somebody to sell your blog for you. A “blog broker” will know how to negotiate the best deal possible. The downside to using a blog broker is that they usually take a percentage of the profit from the sale.
Selling a blog takes a lot of work, but it can be done!Â

I tried to sell my blog once, but i’m glad it didn’t sell. Now i’m making almost 100$ a month of it and my traffic is growing substantially.

Yeah, most of it comes from Adsense. I’ve been using Kontera Text Advertising as well and it’s only made me 85$ in the past year.

I’ve sold a few blogs before, and I’ve always found that Digital Point is a good place to make a quick and easy sale. Of course, the most important thing there is to ensure that you trade with someone reputable and make sure that you’re protected until the funds are in your hands.
I know many people who buy blogs just to flip them but I get attached to them - their my babies and I admit it’s hard to let go. I was on the verge of getting rid of one once and pulled it back at the last second. I really need to learn how to cut the apron strings!

Kontera intext advertising i find a bit intrusive so i avoid that completely; at the moment i am comparing knotera, adsense and bidvertiser on 3 diffrent sites with the same basic SEO and traffic amount another 2 months in the trial period, one month in though i have found adsense works alot better due to its methodology and advertiser backing

I have been blogging for the past one year or so but I had never ever imagined of selling my blog. This particular post was quite helpful to me. I have no intention of selling my blogs and not sure as well to continue blogging. So if I can sell it for good amount I might sell one of my blogs.
