Branding and Blogging

Brands are labels which bring fame and popularity to any business venture. One can build one’s own brand name or can use an already famous one to give a new look to an existing business or a small venture. If the brand is good it helps an organization to get a better hold over the market place.

Brands play a vital role in the FMCG industry. Soaps, detergents and confectionaries are better sold if a brand supports them. Brands work well even for the internet industry. if a good building and high ranking site is linking to your site then the page rank value of your site increases and will be listed well ahead in the search engine results. It would definitely make your blog more popular and hence increase the creativity and popularity of your product and increase traffic on your site. If pay per click is what has been incorporated on your site then you would make better money from the people navigating through your website and opting for your product thereby increasing remuneration of the firm.

Blogs are generally written to give the people a better idea about the specifications and qualities of the product to be marketed. If the good brands and the brand names are included in the blog then better branded names will be found as a keyword in the blog thereby increasing the quality of the content and hence targetting better market and more readers. If the content is quality rich and it is search engine optimized, no one can stop your blog becoming popular on the web.

Henceforth, whenever you compose a blog it is must that you target certain good keywords and good brands should be a few amongst them. Writing better blogs helps achieve better target crowd and quality navigation for the viewer.

  1. Great post, and very true. If I read it correctly tho, one must be careful as to how, where and why they start popping brand names into things they write, so as not to wind up in any sort of legal issues. :)

BTW, brand new reader here. I signed up for your b-day contest but may stick around a while. Great stuff :-)

  3. Excellent thought Jackie. I just had a custom theme made, which I’m woking on now.

I can’t seem to think up a good enough logo yet tho; workin on it :)

  4. That’s probably a good idea. Don’t be afraid to put some money into your blog if you’re serious about blogging.

A great logo like the one over at Tyler Cruz can be a great way to establish a brand.

  5. You could always hire someone.

  6. I was thinking about this, and another great example of branding on a blog is Maki’s Dosh Dosh. When I think of his blog, I immediately remember those anime figures he has on most posts.
