Social Networks Benefits

February 8, 2008

Social networking is a good and useful concept whereby many actors participate in different kinds of interactions with each other and share ideas, information and knowledge resources. The idea of having a social structure made up of connections of diverse nodes is something that ranges from simplistic connections to very complex oens and the great advantage of that is you can completely avoid isolation and you can socialize our ideas.

All this has been used in the realm of cyberspace by continuously looking for ways to transform how computers link electronically. Many cyber entrepreneurs who are living their business dreams are taking advantage of this. Bloggers can connect people around the world at a very low cost and this is great step for blog owners who are novices to expand their contact base.

What you can do with the social networking services which are available online such as Tribe, MySpace, Friendster, Facebook and Bebo is create a profile in an internal or external social network. With this you will have a whole community of people with consuming habits, different consuming interests, that you can keep in mind to promote your goods and services. It is important that you explore and see the diverse benefits of a social network for your blog services.

Moreover, social networking services are getting more popular everyday. I know many of these social networking services are not for businesses, but it is important to see different interests of people in a cyber social network. It is what is going to give you the clearest idea of how to go about your business opportunity.

In addition, you can evaluate LinkedIn and ZeroDegrees, which are the most business-oriented social networking services. Each day these and very similar sites are increasing the quality and the possibility of making more effective connections. In the construction of your blogging business I recommend that you investigate more in-depth the different structures of social networks applied to the web and to your specific type of business.

Social networks are a way to promote your site. However I don’t like this way and I use social networks only for fun.

yes it does help if you are on the right groups and the right places social networks do help get you a lot of traffic to your blog on a regular basis

I truly believe if search engines (more over Google), keep on the destructive pah that they are, social networks will become a leading source of traffic in 5yrs or less.

I think you should look at
Orkut, facebook, myspace which have really caught up. I thin You tube which is now on no2 in alexa is also helping.

Have you guys seen after the micrsoft yahoo announcement yahoo is number 1 in alexa traffic and seems that people tend to ignore yahoo as a site to bring in traffic. Less competition but more chances of getting hit

The problem is, most people are so worried about doing things right for big bad Google, they ignore all the others. When in-fact, they’re losing out on some good traffic sources.

I saw some great bloggers use social networks to promote their own sites. That’s what I should learn from them^.^

Most of them are in now, in one form or another.

It’s usually best to use social networks for fun and build a strong profile.

Let others sell you.

Social networks like myspace and facebook don’t deliver that much traffic. While a facebook app builds awareness, it’s probably better to focus on sites like Digg, Sphinn, and del.icio.us.
